Dear Future Professionals,
 At the very outset let me congratulate you on your decision to join this
Institute. Our country is poised for great advancement. The present is a
transitional phase where core strengths and new technologies are emerging as
front leaders. The Information Technology has ushered in a new era. The
knowledge gained, besides helping us in taking maximum advantage of the
available resources, will also open new frontiers. The late Babu Banarasi
Das Ji, who had lent dignity to the Office of the Chief Minister of Uttar
Pradesh, must have foreseen all this and visualized an Institution that
would prepare young professionals to meet the future challenges. The
establishment of Babu Banarasi Das Institute of Technology is thus a step
towards fulfillment of his dreams. Within a short span, the Institute has
earned a name for itself in the fields of Engineering and Information
Technology.
I am sure the Institute will prepare you to gain all-round professional
excellence so that when you step out of the portal of the Institute after
passing out, you are able to face the competitive world with confidence.

enormous business potential along with formidable challenges, which need to
be converted into viable opportunities to leverage the promise of unprecedented
career growth. To keep pace with the rapid and path-breaking technological
developments, we have to groom our young engineering graduates possessing
requisite skills and tools to compete in the global scenario. At BBDIT, we,
being aware of this reality, have striven to provide excellent
infrastructure facilities including well-equipped Library, Computer centre,
Laboratories, technology enhanced learning tools and well-qualified &
dedicated faculty and staff so that our students excel in their mission by
